  • CEO and Founder of Voxtopica, Richard worked closely with some of Washington’s largest associations and think tanks over the past 30 years. He understands firsthand the potential and pressure that every communications leader in D.C. juggles on behalf of their organization. Richard created Voxtopica to serve the specific needs of public affairs teams seeking to leverage the power of podcasts. He's built an agency partner that is accountable and reliable — qualities every comms team wants.

  • As an Assistant Producer for Voxtopica, Trevor is determined to work closely with clients at every stage of podcast production to tell stories in an effective and engaging way. His interest in podcasting and conversation-based storytelling dates back to his time as a journalism student at an NPR member station in mid-Missouri.

  • As a Senior Producer, Bethany is passionate about creating informative and compelling podcasts that showcase the wonderful work of Voxtopica’s clients. She specializes in shows that bring together science, society, and policy. Her passion for science began with a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and has continued through 10 years of science journalism experience, while her audio skills were honed as a host and producer on the podcast Science for the People during its 15-year run.

  • Vice President of Operations, Laura is dedicated to ensuring Voxtopica provides the highest level of client service. She ensures the agency continues to advance and innovate its production process — the backbone of Voxtopica’s high-quality, cost-effective podcasts. Her commitment to customer service is evident in a career dedicated to supporting clients across B2B and B2C businesses. She is a seasoned guide for clients navigating all aspects of podcast production.

  • Head of Production, Ismael brings extensive global studio experience to Voxtopica’s clients. He’s worked from LA to NYC and around the world to produce podcasts and music that create stories and experiences that delight audiences. His passion for music and sound began in Mexico City as a child, grew as a trumpeter for the DC Youth Orchestra, and led to a degree in Electronic Production and Design from Boston’s Berklee College of Music.

  • As an Engineer at Voxtopica, Reese is passionate about podcasting, voiceover work, and producing musical acts (after hours). His interest in recording and mixing music led to a degree in music production and audio engineering with a minor in marketing from Ohio University. He fine-tuned his skills on ACRN, the university’s student radio station, and in the university’s IT department.

  • As a Producer, Jeanette brings a decade of expertise in storytelling, marketing, and global production experience to Voxtopica. Since interning with NPR in her hometown of Chicago, she has collaborated with teams of content creators while managing clients like National Geographic, ACLU of Massachusetts, and Sofar Sounds. With a B.A. in Public Communication and Film Studies from Truman State University, she has co-produced award-winning podcasts such as Freedom Unfinished and Guardians of the River.

  • As a Production Assistant at Voxtopica, Alya is a skilled researcher with a strong aptitude for data collection. She works closely across the Voxtopica team to help ensure the agency is producing superior podcasts for clients. Alya is actively pursuing a degree in history at Birmingham-Southern College.

  • As the Outreach Coordinator for Voxtopica, Tara makes sure everything runs smoothly on the day of recording by organizing and synchronizing everyone’s schedules for the One Country Project’s Hot Dish Podcast. Her knack for this skill strengthened after she studied media production from Bradley University. She started out as a producer and editor for documentaries but found her strength as a coordinator among social media marketing. She also holds a master’s in Communication, Culture, & Technology from Georgetown University.
